 Cloverleaf C82 Air Pump
The Cloverleaf C82 Air Pump compressor is driven by an electric magnet motor that provides approximately 82 litres per minute (4,920 lph) of purified compressed air with its single 12mm outlet is also ideal for the Particle Separation System (PSS).
The pump is of battleship construction superbly engineered with the heat dissipating case formed from ZL102 aluminium alloy. A non return valve is recommended if the pump is located below the water level of any filter.
The C82 which many individuals will likely regard as fabulous should ideally be located in a weatherproof air vented housing, and like all other pond related electrical devices be protected via an RCD unit.
We at Dankoi cannot stress enough the importance of adequate air supply to both your pond and filtration systems.
Low oxygen levels can have a serious detrimental effect on the health of your fish; very low levels can even cause death of both the fish, and nitrifying bacteria.
Important Note on Installation:
As with all Air Pumps, they should be installed above the water level. This prevents back siphoning which can result in damage to the pump. Where this is not possible, a non-return valve should be installed to protect the pump. The use of pressure release valves and or pressure gauges is highly recommended. |
