 Nexus Eazy 200
The Nexus Eazy 200 is Evolution Aqua's exciting new filter system incorporating the industry proven Kaldnes moving bed coupled with the innovative Eazy mechanical filter.
The Nexus Eazy 200 provides outstanding water clarity and quality, pump or gravity fed. It is extremely "Eazy" and clean to maintain, has minimal running costs, requires no service parts such as foam, is designed and built to last for life, as well as offering unrivalled price performance.
How It Works:
The Eazy is a stainless steel vessel containing a volume of static K1 media which is located within the centre chamber of the Nexus Filter. Water enters the centre chamber and then enters the Eazy via slots in the lower half of the unit. This results in a downward flow causing many of the larger solids to settle out prior to entering the Eazy. The size of the slots will not allow large mechanical waste to enter the cylinder thus acting as a first stage mechanical filtration. The water then passes through the static K1 media utilizing up and side flow and this process causes the fine solids to become entrapped. The mechanically clean water then passes to the outside chamber of the Nexus Eazy 200 where the Kaldnes moving bed™ is located for biological treatment prior to being returned to the pond.

 Nexus Eazy Water Polisher and Air Backwash Kit
The Nexus Eazy Water Polisher and Air Backwash Kit basically consists of two elements to add additional functionality to your NeXus 200 and 300 models.
The first improvement is achieved by adding a full height metal plate, instead of the half height metal plate in your existing filter, immediately followed by a plastic weir. This new design utilises the whole of the static K1 which maximises the cleaning potential of the filter.
Equally, the second improvement is achieved by adding the air backwash kit, using the supplied parts, the air line fits into the 'D' shaped exit grill, the other end is connected to the air supply for the biological stage using the supplied valve.
Cleaning is simple and effective and the subsequent results are reported to be quite outstanding. |

 Nexus Eazy Retro Fit Kits
The Nexus Eazy Retro Fit Kit enables you to upgrade your existing Nexus to the Nexus Easy. This achieved by replacing the central sponge block in your current filter with the new Nexus Eazy. The Nexus Eazy features Evoltiuon Aqua's new solids removal system utilizing static Kaldness (K1).
The static K1 is retained in a 316 Stainless Steel enclosure and has proved to trap incredibly small particles. This new system is also very easy to clean, just turn on the air tap to the settlement chamber agitiating the K1. This process dislodges the trapped particles which can then be purged to waste through the central vortex drain. |

 Nexus Eazy Lid
The lid for the Nexus filter system is an extremely strong, single piece cover. Earlier models were in two sections, an outer lid and one clear central one. In terms of strength and rigidity, these new single section lids are far superior and can be fitted to both the 200 and 300 systems. |
