 Microbe-Lift Autumn Winter Prep
Microbe-Lift Autumn Winter Prep has been specially formulated for pond winterization. Microbe-Lift Autumn Winter Prep helps to accelerate the decomposition of leaves, sediment and other organic matter during the Autumn and Winter months, and will also jump start your pond in the Spring.
Microbe-Lift Autumn Winter Prep is a two-part system of liquid becteria and dry, water soluble packets containing a blend of cellulose enzymes, cellulose-producing bacteria and a cold weather bacteria. The cellulose enzymes, along with the cellulose-producing bacteria, are the key to accelerating the breakdown of leaves, organic sediment and sludge all Winter long. The cold weather bacteria and liquid bacteria take care of the initial breakdown by-products.

Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear is a special blend of beneficial bacteria that keeps ponds clean & clear. Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear contains photosynthetic bacteria which is grown in the bottle in which it is sold, it is due to this unique process that you reeive the bacteria in tip top condition.
Photosynthetic bacteria can be a very beneficial in balancing the ecology of a pond. This bacteria will compete with the algae for their nutritionand sunlight.

 Microbe-Lift Filter Gel
Microbe-Lift Filter Gel is a technology breakthrough becauseit's the first product that puts the bacteria right where you want it and it stays there!. Microbe-Lift Filter Gel will quickly attach to and populate any filter media including foam, strapping, floss, bio balls, ceramic media and K1 etc.
Filter Gel will rapidly establish the necessary biological activity in your filter which in turn will stabilize your pond's environment quickly.
Microbe-Lift Filter Gel will also help restore this activity to your filter when you clean or change the media in your filter.
Microbe-Lift Filter Gel Product Features:
- Easily applies to filters pads/medaia without running
- Contains the same spectrum of bacteria as Microbe-Lift/PL
- Contains naturally occurring biopolymers, helping organisms quickly attach to the media allowing 80% reduction in filter start-up time
- Helps to stabilize the pond's environment quickly upon startup and to eliminate transient instability that can occur when filter media is cleaned or replaced
- Allows for more frequent cleaning of filters without subsequent instability if a pond has a high olids loading where more frequent cleaning is benficial
- Reduces the frequency of cleaning by accelerating the breakdown of organic solids that lead to high maintenance requirements.
- Helps to establish denitrification in the filter which can lower nitrate levels in the pond.
Application:
Inoculate (spread) the Microbe-Lift Filter Gel directly to the filter pad or media. The Filter Gel will absorb into the pad/media by letting it set for 1 to 2 hours before inserting the medaia back into the filter or skimmer. After the media has been inserted back i to the filter, turn off the recirculating pump for 1 to 2 hours, providing that the water can maintain adequate oxygenation without circulation for this amount of time. Repeat the application after each cleaning/replacement of filter pas/media.

 Microbe-Lift Nite Out II
Microbe-Lift Nite Out II is designed specially for all ponds that contain aquatic life. Nite Out II is a highly specialized microbial consortium of nitrifying bacterial cultures that is specifically formulated to eliminate ammonia via a natural process known as nitrification.
The cultures contained in Microbe-Lift Nite Out II will establish, promote or stabilize and maintain nitrification in you pond water, eliminating the toxic effect of ammonia. Microbe-Lift Nite Out II liquid nitrifying bacteria contains select strains of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira and Nitrobacter.
In short, Nitrosomonas convert ammonia to nitrite and Nitrobacter and Nitrospira convert nitrite to nitrate.

Notes on Nitrification:
When ammonia removal is desired first start with Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear to reduce the orgnic waste in the pond as high levels of BOD can inhibit the nitrification process by competeing with the nitrifying microorganisms for the necessary oxygen. After applying Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear wait for approximately 24 to 48 hours for the Clear & Clean to do it's job, and then apply Microve-Lift Nite Out II.
Prior to the addition of the Nite Out II (to start the nitrification process), check to make sure that the pond's pH is in the correct range for the nitrification process. Adjust the pond pH to a range of 7.5 to 8.7, and check to see if adequate alkalinity is present as you must maintain a level of a least 50/ppm of alkalinity at all times. This is necessary as the nitrifying microorganisms use 7.1lbs of alkalinity for each pound of ammonia removed (oxidized).
If the correct level of alkalinity is not present, nitrification will not occur, and if alkalinity is lost then the nitrification process will cease and the pond pH will drop due to teh nitrifying cultures activity. To increase the alkalinity add the Kusuri Biobalance until you achieve an alkalinity level of 50/ppm t0 100/ppm (minimum), and then maintain the alkalinity at a level of 50/ppm.

 Microbe-Lift Sludge Away
Microbe-Lift Sludge Away has been years in development. Microbe-Lift Sludge Away speeds up the biological removal of slow to degrade organic waste matter from aquatic pond bottoms that may become toxic to fish and plant life. As organic solids accumulate on the pond bottom they begin to break down, releasing toxic gases to the surrounding environment. These gaseous by-products endanger fish,marine life and plants.
Microbe-Lift Sludge Away removes bottom organic sludge and dirt, reducing or eliminating the potential harmful gaseous compounds, and helps to clarify your pond water at the same time. Microbe-Lift Sludge Away is especially helpful for ponds that have a rock or gravel bottom and where vacuuming is impractical. Microbe-Lift Sludge Away works faster at warm water temperatures, but can be used effectively at any temperature all year-round.

 Microbe-Lift Super Start Bead Filter Bacteria
Microbe-Lift Super Start Bead Filter Bacteria has been specially omulated for all biological (bead) filters). Like most types of mechanical/biological filters, bead filters rely on the use of a media that provides a high surface area/volume ratio. This allows for the support of the necessary biomas, in the form of a biofilm, to properly remove organic and inorganic waste from the water.
Within this biofilm it is possible to to carry out aerobic, facultative anerobic, anaerobic and chemosynthetic processes. In english, this actually means that we develop and grow various forms of bateria on our filter media which will result in the complete nitrifaction process and also develop the biomas which totally covers the bead media and becomes sticky, it is this sticky biomas that traps the small particles as part of the normal filtration process which results in clear clean water.
Microbe-Lift Super Start contains all these bacteria capable of carrying out all of the necessary processes for the optimum performance of bead filters.
When used according to the recommended dosage instructions Microbe-Lift Super Start will provide the following benefits:
- Rapid establishment of organic removal capabilities
- Rapid establishment of the nitrogen cycle including nitrification and denitrification

Microbe-Lift Super Start Directions For Use:
When starting up a filter for the first time, apply Microbe-Lift Super Start for 4 weeks. Clean the filter the apply for a further two weeks. For regular maintenance for your system use in conjunction with Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear.
Please note that this product is not just for new filters and can be used whenever you feel it necessary, for example wneh introducing new fish and following medication and or treatments to your pond.
