 This rain chain consists of 34 beautifully engineered heavy copper cages formed by 3 large 100mm (4") interlocking welded 6mm thick rings forming 6 segments.
Each copper "cage" is carfully crafted and precision welded into the next cage forming a continuous copper chain of 3.0m (approx 10ft). The chain is finished off at the bottom with a solid cast copper weight in the style of flower petals with copper attachment hook.
This big beautiful chain will cope with large water flow from up to 3-6" gutter outlets giving a graceful flow between the rings, and makes a bold statement in any Japanese garden or Japanese style home.
In time the bright new copper will weather to a delightful "Verdigris Patina". Each link in the solid copper chain measures 100mm (4") diameter with a bottom weight of 125mm (5") diameter x 90mm high including the copper attachment hook.
Rain chains are normally finished at ground level with the weight supplied to keep the chain taught. The water from the chain may be fed into a large pot or suitable drain covered with pebbles. This elegant rain chain is sold in a standard 3.0m (10ft) length and can only be shortened by cutting the rings. Easy to install using the heavy duty stainless steel attachment "looped rod" gutter attachment. (Gutters may require additional support bracketing for this weight of chain).
