The "Azekura" Shrine Lantern is styled to resemble piled timbers with a traditional lattice work window and is cast in black iron. The lantern comes complete with a cast iron bell and can be used either inside or outside of the home.

In Japan the lanterns are used to light Shinto Shrines and can often be seen hanging from the four corners of the building as an ornamental feature.
