Oase Bitron 72C UltraViolet Clarifier
The Oase Bitron 72C Self-Cleaning UV Clarifiers utilizes the finest UVC technology to eliminate algae and reduce pathogens in garden ponds. The innovative design of the Oase Bitron range contains an automated cleaning system which is activated by water flow around the quartz tube. This 'rotor' which is basically a set of brushes is rotated by the water flow and prevents sludge and slime from settling around the quartz sleeve keeping it clean at all times and thereby ensures maximum UV radiation and perfomance of the clarifier.
The Bitron 72C model, and above also include permanent magnets, another unique feature of the Briton range, these magnets prevent calcium deposits (scale) from forming, adding aditional performance and  functionality of the unit. These Integrated magnets protect the system from dangerous lime deposits. Lime that is in the water can crystalline during the thermal development of the UVC light. These aggressive lime structures can destroy the bulb or block the rotor in the pump. The permanent magnets of the OASE Bitron clarifier prevent these crystals from forming through magnetic treatment of the water. This protects the pond as well as the filtration system and guarantees the unusually long service life of the OASE components.
All Oase Bitron devices have well-designed bypass technology. This allows individual adjustment of the water flow which is routed over the UVC bulb via the 'throttle handle'.
