This lovely solid copper, Japanese rain chain consists of 29 beautifully engineered "fluted" copper flower cups and flower petal copper bottom weight. Each copper cup is joined to the next with heavy gauge copper links, producing a lovely cascade of water that flows gracefully between the cups. In time the bright new copper will weather to a delightful "Verdigris Patina". The "flower cups" each measure 55mm x 60mm with a bottom weight of 100mm x 64mm.
Rain chains are normally finished at ground level with the weight supplied to keep the chain taught, the water from the chain may be fed into a large pot or suitable drain covered in pebbles. This elegant rain chain is sold in a standard 2.7m (8' 8") length and may be shortened or lengthened.
